NEWS FROM STAR ALLIANCE

NEWS FROM STAR ALLIANCE

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Star Alliance will continue to cooperate to check travel documents and IATA Timatic AutoCheck. This will make it easy for travelers to ensure that their travel documents are in order for all parts of their trip right from check-in. The benefits are great since travelers won't be denied entry into a country upon arrival due to incomplete travel documents, which is a source of stress and frustration, not to mention expensive for the airline that has to transport the travelers back if they've been rejected.

And in other great news from our network, Star Alliance was recently named "Best Airline Alliance" for the 4th consecutive year at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. The Star Alliance lounge in Los Angeles also won the "Best Airline Alliance Lounge" award for the 5th year in a row.
